Learner license is a document which is used to drive motor vehicle at any public places. A learner license is required for a person who learning to drive. Learner license is valid for a period of six months. Driving license should be applied for 30 days after issue of learner license and before the end of validity of license. ⇭ Required Documents for LLR

Check list of document to be required for filling application of learner license. All document attested by any Gazette Officer of Meghalaya state.

Filled Application Form 2 Learner License

Attach proof of address like telephone bill, water bill, electricity bill, bank passbook, pay slip, ration card, passport, adhaar card.

Attach a copy of age proof of applicant, any of them (birth certificate, school leaving certificate, driving license).

⇭ Procedure & Steps to Apply for Learning License

Fill application form with all details like name, father name, address, contact details, date of birth, age, etc.

The application of learner license is submitted to the Regional Transport Office (RTO) / District transport Office (DTO) of your region with all documents and fee charges.

Clerk after checking all details in form and documents issue you a receipt which mentions date and time of receiving license. Next you need to appear for learned license test which is based on traffic signs, signals, rules and regulations of the Motor Vehicle Act, 1988.

Learner license is valid only for period of six months from date of issue to applicant after 30 days of learner license and before expiry of license apply for regular driving license.

A holder of learner license can drive a transport vehicle unless he held a driving license to drive a motor vehicle for at least one year.
